Provide volunteer assistance for library programs and special events.
Raise funds through annual projects.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs is the largest and the oldest non-denominational, non-partisan, international service organization of the volunteer women in the world. 1990 marked the centennial year of the federation.
Ongoing projects include: Girlstown Foundation, Veterans Hospital, Day in the Country, Adopt a Teacher Program, Plant Sale, Bake Sale, and Christmas party.
We also assist the Orion Township Public Library, Historical Society, and the Orion/Oxford Boys and Girls Club when requested. |

The primary goal is the prevention of delinquency and neglect through citizen involvement and the coordination of community resources on behalf of youth.
O.A.Y.A has no legal or judicial function. Participation is voluntary. |

The concept for a cultural art center to promote the Arts in Lake Orion came about 1976. Interested persons obtained a building for one dollar to be moved two blocks to a sited owned by the Village of Lake Orion at the end of Anderson Street. On June 11, 1979 the United Methodist parsonage, the donated building, was moved to its new site and became the Orion Art Center. The Orion Art Center has expanded greatly since then, offering day and evening classes, art exhibitions, community involvement, the Joan Brace Scholarship fund, etc. The purpose of the Art Center is to promote, encourage, and support the development of the arts in the community; to lend enrichment to the life of its citizens; and to provide a forum for the dissemination of knowledge and the staring of ideas pertinent to our common purpose. |

TOPS, "take off pounds sensibly" is non-profit and is an International organization. The fees are $14.00 a month, thus making it possible for most people to afford the meetings. There is a $20.00 annual membership fee. TOPS is a very successful program and really cares to help you lose weight and reach your goals. |
