Join a sports league and utilize the park's 7 soccer fields and 4 baseball/softball fields. We also have a sand volleyball court and 2 basketball courts. Picnic areas and grills are available for a summer get together. The park also has a walking path and a nature trail, perfect for a morning or evening jog. |

| Safety Path Advisory Committee

Safety paths in Orion Township are under the jurisdiction of the Parks & Recreation Department. Recommendations about safety path issues, concerning location, construction, maintenance, etc., are made by the Safety Path Advisory Committee, which meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:15 p.m. at the Township Hall. The committee is assisted by the Parks & Recreation Director and the Township engineering consultants. Members are appointed for three-year terms by the Township Board.
Anyone interested in serving on this very important volunteer committee should send a letter of interest, in care of the Township Clerk, to: Charter Township of Orion, 2525 Joslyn Rd., Lake Orion MI 48360. |
