Oakland County 4-H is a program of Michigan State University Extension. 4-H provides youth development programs that involve volunteers in providing positive, experiential, educational opportunities for and with youth. The Friends of the Orion Library are an important group of people who are advocates of the library. Friends enhance and support the library's services to the community. When you join the Friends of the Orion Library, you say YES to your library.
What Do They Do?
Promote awareness of the library's programs and services.
Provide direct financial assistance to purchase new equipment and materials and fund special programs for adults and children.
Provide volunteer assistance for library programs and special events.
Raise funds through annual projects.
